This is just making Mike Pence look ridiculous

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

During a fundraiser the other night, potential presidential candidate Mike Pence decided to try something new. Looking spiffy and serious-faced, Pence finally, after about a century, condemned Donald Trump for the January 6 insurrection.

History would judge Trump, a sober-voiced Pence said. He also accused Trump of putting his family in danger. I like to be polite about these things, but when it comes to Pence, I’ll throw that rule out the window.

My response to this is no shit, Sherlock. It is incredible what naked ambition can do to a guy. Mike Pence has waited how long now to condemn Trump? He did not do it before.. Instead, he’s tiptoed around, sort of like the fly who landing on the shoulder during his debate and tried to remain as inconspicuous as possible. But now, because he wants to get sympathy and maybe a few votes, he finally brings up Trump. AND bothers to mention his family.

I have a prediction to make readers, and I don’t make predictions easily. I predict that Mike Pence is going to be absolutely eviscerated by everybody once he gets into the race, perhaps more than most candidates.

Pence is such an obvious hypocrite that it shocks me that he doesn’t have the intelligence or the political skills to see that for himself. It’s like he’s holding up a mirror, but the reflection he sees is quite different than what the general population sees. It mystifies me. I’ve seen bad politicians in my life, but Pence brings a new dimension to it.

And as Pence solemnly condemns Donald Trump for the insurrection, he still refuses to meet with Jack Smith, who is trying to put the very person he condemns into prison. Oh, what a not- so-tangled web weave Pence weaves as he laughably tried to deceive. Mike, you’re deceiving no one, and you look ridiculous.
