This is just embarrassing for “Speaker” Mike Johnson
Mike Johnson has asserted himself, DEMANDING that all charges against Donald Trump be dropped immediately! “It’s the weaponization of our justice system,” complained the speaker. The endangered of being fired Speaker.
“Coordinated political attack.” This is what Johnson is calling the CRIMINAL CHARGES against Trump. You know what? Mike Johnson is one big fraud – a more significant fraud event than Kevin McCarthy.
Johnson waves poetic about being “pure,” rails against pornography, attends purity balls — and stands behind a known sexual assaulter, a man who paid off a porn star, a man who sees women as bed-mates to soothe his ravaged ego, a man with no honor or any ability to see women as anything more than objects around to do his bidding.
Of course, Johnson is likely trembling in his sycophantic boots. After all, Marjorie Taylor Greene may have backed off for now, but the little carnivore is note finished devouring Johnson, and he knows it.
I suppose he wants to look like a big and bad tough guy. This is not working. All he is succeeding in looking like is a smarmy (and I must say, rather creepy) idiot.The man’s job is in jeopardy, and he is prepared to do anything to keep it.
It still won’t work, though. Johnson is too soft-spoken for the Alt-right monsters, too staid, too free of drama. They want someone they can sink their teeth into. Someone ready, willing, and able to stir the pot, to create chaos out of anything and everything. This person is not Mike Johnson, so what he really should do is admit defeat now.
