This is just embarrassing for Madison Cawthorn

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

North Carolina Rep. Madison Cawthorn (bad seed, insurrection party, North Carolina) is a moron. This is just the way it is. And he is an ARROGANT moron. AND he also loves his weapons — like knives and guns, both of which he has tried to sneak on planes and into school board meetings.

I think it is safe to say that Cawthorn is not there to help the people. And now Cawthorn has achieved something quite eyebrow-raising. He has made a fool of himself on Twitter. (Well — maybe it isn’t that eyebrow-raising.)

Cawthorn seems intent on making the world believe President Biden is a liar. So, in the spirit of psychopaths, he tweeted out this: “What’s the biggest lie a politician has ever told?”

Uh-oh. Quicker than one could say, “liar, liar,” Cawthorn’s followers proceeded to answer him cheerfully: “Lying about everything every day like you do.”

That was merely one comment in hundreds — perhaps thousands of answers. Few of the answers said President Biden — which of course was what Cawthorn seemed to be HOPING they would say. See, Cawthorn does not seem to get Twitter yet. Many people follow specific individuals to laugh at them — not because they agree with their policies.

Cawthorn, in all his hubris, may actually have thought all his followers were secret admirers. Who knows?

“Don’t go there, Cawthorn.”

“The ones you tell hourly.”

“Why did you say you were accepted into the Navy. You weren’t.”

“Violating the no-weapons mandate on jet airliners.”

Sigh. Thank you, Twitter, for always being there when we need you for push-back against some Republican fool.
