This is just embarrassing for Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If you watch Donald Trump periodically try to give a rally speech or interview these days, it’s easy to see just how far gone he is cognitively. The guy is barely there, and it’s clear why his handlers don’t let him appear in public more often than he does. Because he’s been mostly out of sight for the past fifteen months, one big question is when his cognitive abilities began to take a dive.

Some observers have wondered aloud if Trump might have done permanent damage to himself when he prematurely left the hospital while still sick with COVID in order to return to the campaign trail. Others have suggested that perhaps the stress of losing the election was what sent him into cognitive collapse.

Now CNN is reporting that when Trump was preparing to do his first interview after losing the 2020 election, Fox host Maria Bartiromo sent the questions to Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows in advance.

Bartiromo is a Trump sycophant who only ever asks him softball questions. And yet even she felt compelled to send Trump those softball questions in advance, so he’d have an easier time of answering them. It suggests that by the time of the interview, which took place in late November 2020, Trump was indeed already into cognitive collapse. Given how he performs in public these days, it’s clear that it’s an ongoing downward spiral.
