This is just embarrassing for Donald Trump

Donald Trump’s 2017 inauguration actually gave some pretty solid indicators of what the rest of his term would look like, for any who were paying attention. The size of his inaugural crowd was significantly smaller than the number of people who appeared for President Obama’s 2009 inauguration – or even the 2013 one.
That didn’t stop Donald Trump from bragging about the size of his turnout right to the end and lying about the actual number of people that did show up – a constant reminder that his fragile ego needs.
Unfortunately for him, 2025 promises to be a much lower turnout, with the arrival of an arctic storm in Washington that moves the inauguration ceremony indoors. Sure, Donald Trump will almost certainly argue that if it weren’t for the storm, he’d have the biggest crowd in history – but that’s the sort of thing that only permeates the heads of his most ardent supporters who stay with him.
For anyone on the fence, it’s a bit of a sorry excuse and makes it a bit harder to take anything he says seriously. It’s basically a blow to Donald Trump’s ego at a time where he’s seeing a lot of his plans fall apart.
