This is going south for Tucker Carlson
he man’s voice rose in outrage. The image of this man was projected on so many television screens. The image shone with Russian light. People in Russia tuned in to hear their ally and friend express his outrage with — America.
This man was the face of the Kremlin, the messenger of Russian talking points. The man was Tucker Carlson. And this Sunday, his image blazed across social media in the United States and other places. The image came with a hashtag — #TuckyoRose.
The ridicule, scorn, and mockery refused to abate, leaping into the Twitter skies and catapulting the Kremlin’s candidate into trending news. Everywhere — people laughed. They snorted with chuckles of contemptuousness for this pathetic American who was now the anointed one on Russian TV screens.
Per Raw Story, “TuckyoRose is a take-off of Tokyo Rose, the name given to World War Two women delivering pro-Japanese propaganda in English to allied soldiers in the South Pacific.”
“TuckyoRose” was the whisper across the internet — that soon turned into a scornful scream as thousands upon thousands blasted the Fox non-news host for his disloyalty. I wonder what Tucker Carlson dreamed of when he was a boy — besides money, that is. Did he knows it would come to this? That his face would signify disloyalty and betrayal? Could he have wanted this?
Perhaps the adult Tucker should have an earnest conversation with himself about where his gutlessness has taken him. Maybe he should think about the scorn he inspires — about the only thing he DOES inspire.
