This is getting ugly for Lisa Murkowski
Donald Trump now says he’ll campaign against Lisa Murkowski in 2022. It’s not clear how he’ll do this from prison. In any case, Murkowski must be realizing by now that she did herself no favors by standing with Trump 95% of the time; he now wants to destroy her because she stood against him the other 5% of the time.
– “Meet The Press” should be renamed “Chuck Todd lets Republicans tell lies while he sits there and grins like an idiot.” The sad part is that the other Sunday morning network news shows have generally gotten just as awful. “Face The Nation” allowed an anti-mask conspiracy theorist to make the kind of false statements on-air this morning that get people killed.
– President Biden has done more to help the American people in six weeks than Republican Presidents have done in six decades. That’s not an exaggeration. When was the last time a Republican President did anything of substance that was aimed at benefiting mainstream Americans? Biden’s executive orders, relief bill, and vaccination efforts alone add up to more good than any Republican President has done in our lifetime.
