This is completely out of hand
How bizarrely out of control are things in 2020? Yesterday there was a shooting outside the White House while the President of the United States was giving a press conference, and it wasn’t even a major story. No one was that surprised. A lot of people’s first reaction was that the President probably staged the shooting as part of some deranged mind game, and while there is no evidence to support this notion, it shows what the public really thinks of the President’s mental state.
We have a sitting President of the United States who is currently in the process of being criminally indicted by a grand jury in his home state, because he’s spent his entire life committing financial crimes that have finally caught up with him. We have multiple court battles playing out over which of the President’s right hand men should go to prison, or should get out of prison, or should go back to prison.
And oh by the way, we have a pandemic going on that’s killed 160,000 Americans and counting, and keeps getting worse here, even as various other nations have brought the pandemic under control. We have numerous other nations banning Americans from entering their borders, for fear we’ll bring the plague with us. We have an economy that’s collapsing, even as the President rambles incoherently about deranged conspiracy theories and then goes golfing.
None of this makes the least bit of sense. There’s no reason why any of this should be happening in America. Our nation has always had its share of troubles, but the only reason any of this is happening is that the President of the United States is an unhinged criminal madman who’s falling to pieces. This is completely out of hand. All we can do is stay safe in the meantime, and then vote him out in record numbers.
