“This is as dumb as you think it is”

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Donald Trump’s Texas-based lawsuit to try to overthrow the election isn’t going anywhere. It has zero chance of succeeding. Not 0.1%, or 0.00000001%, but zero. When you have literally no case, your case is automatically thrown out. It’s that simple.

It doesn’t matter how many Republican Attorneys General sign onto the fake lawsuit to try to score partisan points back home. It doesn’t matter that Donald Trump has signed on to the case himself. It simply doesn’t matter. You don’t have to take Palmer Report’s word for it; Rachel Maddow said tonight that this phony lawsuit is “as dumb as you think it is.”

Or you can ask Republican Senator John Cornyn, who is normally so far up Trump’s backside you’d need a flashlight to find him, but said today that “I frankly struggle to understand the legal theory of it.” Or you can ask Jeb Bush, who pointed out today that the Supreme Court will “reject it out of hand.”

We should be concerned that so many states have corrupt Republican Attorneys General who are willing to put their names on this blatantly phony lawsuit just to score cheap points. Every Attorney General who has put their name on this should face criminal charges for having done so. But there is nothing at all to worry about in terms of this dimwitted dead-end lawsuit somehow magically overturning the election. That’s laugh out loud impossible. It’s just that Trump has no choice but to try this, because his life is over and he has nothing left to lose.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
