This is about to get a lot bigger

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Throughout much of 2021 and 2022, far too many people fell into one of two camps – that the former guy was invincible and would never have to answer for his crimes – and not only that, but the majority of the DOJ was secretly working for him and was making sure of it, while the other camp was those who thought Donald Trump would be frog marched from the Oval Office to a squad car in handcuffs and when that didn’t materialize, the DOJ would need to hurry and arrest Trump or he’d become more powerful than ever.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Donald Trump left a number of criminal scandals that are fairly complex and difficult to navigate, regardless of things that he’s said on tape, as that by itself doesn’t hold up as proof of much of anything in court on its own.

It’s now leaking that the FBI actually had Trump under surveillance for a considerable amount of time before the raid last year on Mar a Lago – with videos going all the way back to April that showed the former guy’s staff moving around classified documents.

For four months, he was given the leniency to turn over all requested materials, and the FBI had evidence for months that he was withholding documents from them – which is why they acted to protect interests of national security. As the judge is now approving the dissemination of a less redacted search warrant from August 2022, it’s never been clearer that Donald Trump was an imminent threat to national security at the time, and this case is about to get a lot bigger.
