“This is a very different Trump”
Donald Trump was already a psychotic monster the first two times he ran for President of the United States. But this time around there’s something different about him. His life has been shattered. His relevance is gone. He’s on his way to prison. He’s senile. And he’s only “running” for President to try to take everyone else down with him.
To that end, the Biden campaign is making a point of highlighting the conservatives who are now seeing Trump for what he’s devolved into. For instance this Republican voter says he’s seeing a “very different Trump” than what he used to be:
Haley voter: I will not vote for Donald Trump. I can’t associate myself with the Republican Party under Donald Trump. This is a very different Trump from before. He is running strictly for revenge. He is a threat to democracy pic.twitter.com/SNo8gCRqsf

.
Remember, we don’t need Republicans’ reasons for refusing to vote for Trump to make sense. We just need them to have reasons for refusing to vote for Trump. And it’s clear that for as much as the media wants us to believe that Trump’s base and the Republican base are the same thing, it’s simply not true. Trump is in serious trouble, even on his own side of the political fence.
