“This is a very bad day for Donald Trump”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When New York Attorney General Letitia James subpoenaed Donald Trump on Thursday to testify in her civil case against the Trump Organization, New York Governor Kathy Hochul declared that it was a “very bad day for Donald Trump.” As it turns out, Friday was even worse for him. Much worse.

On Friday the January 6th Committee revealed that it’s learned that Donald Trump met privately at the White House on January 4th with multiple January 6th organizers. This came amid the news that Jason Miller had begun cooperating with the committee. Whether his cooperation continues is an open question. But it turns out Mark Meadows was the one who turned over the infamous January 6th Trump White House PowerPoint presentation while he was cooperating with the committee, so even the briefest of cooperation periods can prove fruitful.

This is all now going rather wrong for Donald Trump, rather quickly. Was Governor Kathy Hochul’s quote simply timed fortuitously, or does she have ESP? In any case, now that these kinds of things are in motion, they’ll only get uglier for Trump in the coming days.
