This is a damn good question
Joe Biden got the most votes for President in United States history when he ran in 2020. And with his approval rating numbers consistently in the forties, he clearly still has a massive number of supporters. So where are they? They’re easy enough to find in the real world. But in the political media world, Biden supporters are pretty much treated as if they don’t exist:
.
.
This is a damn good question, and we pretty much know the answer. Biden supporters are normal mainstream Americans out there living normal lives and behaving like normal people, so they don’t make for a good story. Biden supporters aren’t creepy weirdos attending cult rallies, or storming the capitol, or putting seventeen flags for their candidate on their lawn in a non-election year. So the media doesn’t think it can get any ratings out of talking about Biden’s supporters.
For that matter the political media (on both sides) gets better ratings when it pretends that Donald Trump is a lock to magically regain power in 2024. That narrative excites right wingers into watching, and it scares everyone else into watching. And one way that the media sells that narrative is to pretend that Joe Biden is unpopular, washed up, and hopeless. Nevermind that, based on all the available numbers over the past three years, Biden probably still has the most supporters of any U.S. President ever.
