This is a complete disaster for the Republicans
Occasionally, a politician comes out with words so awful, so utterly bereft of compassion and knowledge, that it is difficult to believe the words were ever spoken. This story is about such a person. Tudor Dixon is her name, and she is running to be Governor of Michigan. She is a Republican and is “pro-life.” She is also deranged.
Dixon is insane because she appears to lack even the most basic of human understanding. And it’s disturbing. SHE’S disturbing. And she must not be allowed anywhere near the Governor’s mansion. Dixon was speaking to Fox 2 Detroit when she made comments that I sincerely hope will find themselves in a Democratic commercial very soon.
The Anchor in question, Roop Raj, asked her if she supported the right of a 14-year-old rape victim to have an abortion. Nope. Dixon took things a bit further, though. She proceeded to wax poetic about the bond “that those two people made” and how out of the rape, there could be healing — through having the baby.
Is Dixon sick? Is she just dumb? Or perhaps she really believes this, in which case I’d say that merits an automatic disqualification from ever holding elected office. Evidently, other people think so too. Because as I write these words, there is a national outcry going on over Dixon’s pathetic words, and the video from this interview is being viewed at a rate faster than the speed of light.
Dixon does not appear to live in reality. She also does not appear to give a damn about females. This woman is straight out of “The Handmaid’s tale,” and if elected, she’d likely set about turning the state of Michigan into Gilead. So it’s up to us to make sure she is not elected.
