This is a bunch of crap

Have you ever had a leaky faucet? The sound is one of the most unpleasant. It can drive one mad if one lets it. Drip, drop. The sound can echo in its relentless noise. It doesn’t change and does not stop unless one fixes it — or tunes it out.

I mention this because we’re dealing with our own leaky faucet this very minute. And on and on, it drips with no ending in sight. It has its own rhythm, and it is maddening. It is the flow of the media word vomit. And it has become much worse lately. I think you may have heard a bit of this unrelenting drip. It usually begins like this:

“President Biden’s poll numbers……”

“Bad news for the Democrats….”

“Recession?”

“Will you support President Biden in 2024…”

“Inflation….”

“HISTORY HAS SHOWN US THAT IN THE MIDTERMS….”

Shut up! We need to do one of two things — fix it or tune it out. Just the other night, I saw a show like this. All — ALL — of the phrases mentioned above were talked about. Do you know what WASN’T?

Abortion. Guns. Uvalde. The Manchin-Schumer deal. The Insurrection. The fact that Republicans just screwed over Veterans. As we get closer to the midterms, many in the media will undoubtedly continue behaving badly, and some will get worse. It’s what they do. They are “bad news for the Democrat’s collectors.” They can’t help themselves.

So, we must help OURSELVES. Turn them off. As soon as they start in on their doom and gloom — turn off the leaky, obnoxious, maddening pundits who have nothing better to do than try to ruin the chances of Democrats with their unending flow of word vomit. Do this, please — we will be all the better for it, believe me.
