The GOP brand has always been obstruction of anything that actually works and on Tuesday, we saw them demonstrate this to the max. The problem is that they’ve long defined themselves on being against whatever Democrats are for – and they’ve usually been able to run on this by claiming that they’re actually fighting for the people.

Tuesday shattered that illusion in a pretty big way – as they sacrificed their own credibility on the border while also not taking any meaningful action against the Biden administration. They killed a bill that had everything they wanted while also failing on one of the biggest goals they’ve had since retaking the House.

Now it’s up to us to make sure that they continue to feel the sting of the rebuke they got on Tuesday with the upcoming race for George Santos’ empty seat in NY-3. If Tom Suozzi, the Democratic candidate, who has also come out in support of President Biden’s proposal, wins – not only do we have another ‘no’ vote against Mayorkas’ impeachment, but we will also send a stunning rebuke to the GOP’s entire manufactured crisis on the border, since they need to be told in the only language they understand that they’re inept clowns who can’t be trusted with solving a crisis – even one of their own making. Let’s do everything in our power to get Tom Suozzi elected to Congress on Feb 13.
