Exposed: Lev Parnas has been working for Donald Trump going back THIRTY YEARS
Last night, Lev Parnas went on the Rachel Maddow show and spilled the beans about Donald Trump’s Ukraine extortion scandal. During a press event today, Trump said this about Parnas: “I don’t know him at all.” That’s cute, but it’s very false. In fact it’s been false for decades, because Parnas has been working for Trump for thirty years.
Political pundit Cheri Jacobus and various Twitter sleuths have dug up a pair of old articles which demonstrate just how long Lev Parnas has been working for Donald Trump. An old article from the New Yorker reveals that Lev first started selling Trump Organization real estate when he was sixteen years old. Lev is now forty-seven, meaning this all started circa 1989. An old Washington Post article also confirms that Lev has been working for the Trump Organization dating back to when Donald’s father Fred was still running the show.
So much for Donald Trump’s claim that he doesn’t even know the guy. Lev Parnas’ attorney has tweeted various photographs and video clips which make clear that Trump and Lev have frequently associated with each other since Trump took office. But these unearthed articles make clear that this isn’t some recent dalliance.
For that matter, Donald Trump can’t claim that he’s only been associating with Lev Parnas because Lev is Rudy Giuliani’s guy. Lev has been working for Donald Trump since long before Trump and Rudy had any kind of political relationship. This just keeps getting uglier for Trump.
