Last week Palmer Report wrote that, based on what was being publicly reported, former top DOJ officials Jeffrey Rosen and Richard Donoghue seemed to be volunteering themselves as cooperating witnesses in the Trump-Clark DOJ plot to overthrow the 2020 election. Sure enough, Rosen testified to the Senate over the weekend, and Senator Dick Durbin confirmed that Donoghue was also about to testify. Now a third witness has emerged.

Durbin is telling the media today that former U.S. Attorney BJay Pak will testify next. To be clear, coming in to testify this early on – without a subpoena – is surely volunteering to be a cooperating witness. This means we can expect Pak to be just as helpful as Durbin says that Rosen was.

This is potentially a big deal, because Pak was a U.S. Attorney in Georgia who abruptly resigned after Donald Trump tried and failed to pressure Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger into altering the results of the election. Pak may have had a front row seat to Trump’s felony election tampering in the state.

If you’re wondering why these cooperating witnesses are just now coming forward, keep in mind that they’ve already testified to the DOJ Inspector General, which is a bigger deal because the IG probe can serve as the genesis for a DOJ criminal investigation. While congressional testimony helps educate the public and influence public opinion, DOJ criminal probes are what can actually put the perpetrators in prison.
