Things just got weird with Donald Trump’s attorney Alina Habba

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

With attorney Joe Tacopina having quit, Donald Trump is now being represented in his second E. Jean Carroll trial by attorney Alina Habba. Suffice it to say that it isn’t going well so far. Habba seems to barely know how trials even work, what she’s allowed to say to the judge, when she’s supposed to stand, and so on. Now things have gotten weird.

The trial ended up being postponed today because one of the jurors was ill. This kind of thing happens. But Habba also claimed today that she wasn’t feeling well. She told the judge that she’d just had dinner with her parents, who have since been diagnosed with COVID. Wait, what? If Habba was just exposed to COVID, and now she’s feeling sick, what’s she doing in court? If she does have COVID, then she surely just exposed Trump to COVID during their time in the courtroom today.

Trump is an elderly obese person in very poor health, and now he’s potentially been exposed to COVID by his own attorney. So that’ll be something to watch as the week goes on.
