Things just got even uglier in the New York criminal case against Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is making the rare move of traveling to New York today, to visit his brother. Trump has spent very little time in his former home state since taking office, even dodging his longtime former residence of Trump Tower. It’s as if Trump is so afraid of the legal trouble he’s facing in the state, he’s afraid to even set foot in it.

Notably, Trump’s visit to New York just happens to coincide with new court filings from the Manhattan District Attorney, who confirmed this morning that Trump is facing criminal charges that go beyond what’s previously been publicly known. The real key here, as noted by respected reporter Adam Klasfeld, is that the charges aren’t limited to just the campaign finance fraud that Trump committed with Michael Cohen.

In other words, Donald Trump appears to be looking at a full boat of criminal charges in New York for his various financial crimes over the years. Because these are state charges, they can’t be pardoned by any current or future President. And in case you’re wondering, if Trump loses the election, he can’t dodge arrest simply by hanging out in Florida. If Trump loses, he’s going down hard.
