Things are getting ugly over at Fox News
There is a storm going on as I write this. It features torrential downpours, and they appear to be around for a while. It’s the Fox non-news storm. “I can’t believe it!!” This from Fox Non-news host Jesse Watters. He was expressing his shock that John Fetterman — won?
“I can’t believe John Fetterman won!” the frat boy impostor exclaimed. This took place Wednesday on Fox’s show, The Five. Watters and Dana Perino then proceeded to bash Mehmet Oz and the Republican party for not having a voter strategy.
“Oz was not a great candidate,” Watters said.
“There’s no republican early voting strategy,” Watters lamented.
“Democrats vote for five weeks.”
They also discussed the GOP’s women’s problem.
“And we have a problem demographically” Watters said. “Single women are voting for Democrats by 30 points.”
“Thirty-seven,” Perino added.
“They’re cleaning our clocks in the cities. Cleaning our clocks!”
This melt-down was enjoyed quite a lot by this writer. And I have something to say to Fox and Watters in particular. Yes, women are voting for Democrats. That’s what happens when you attempt to yank away women’s rights and then smugly say they won’t be bothered by the yanking away of those rights.
That’s what happens — women flock to the side that respects them. Watters, Mike Pence, Extreme Justice Alito, Carlson. Hannity. Lindsey Graham — all of you smug and men who thought women wouldn’t notice — have you ever heard the expression “an eye for an eye?”
You try to take our rights — we vote against you. It’s really very simple. If you had any introspection, you’d have anticipated this. Women in this country have no intention of living under any man’s thumbs. So the solution? Stop insulting women’s intelligence by trying to take away our dignity, freedoms and rights.
