Things are falling apart in real time

Dear readers, we've just launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our PayPal Page or our GoFundMe Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

It’s only a month in, and everything Donald John Trump touches is indeed turning to shit. I must pause here to marvel at the sheer BREDTH of utter incompetence. If one had not seen it for themselves, one would never believe it.

They would not think that one man’s presidency could be such a miserable failure so shortly into the new administration. Stephen Collinson agrees. He is an analyst for CNN andwrote his own analysis of the trump administration that came out on Tuesday. It was a dark analysis indeed. Here are some of the things he touched on:

1) Stock Market plunges

2) Trump’s utter insane refusal to rule out a recession

3) Trade wars

4) Massive firings all over the country

5) Turning on Ukraine

6) Alienating all our allies

Collinson said we would pay a heavy price for all the chaos and insanity. He also said we’re headed into uncharted territory. Indeed, we are. Look, keeping the lights on metaphorically means keeping America safe, her allies happy and connected, a thriving economy, the stock market flourishing, and taking the right side during wartime.

Donald Trump has done the exact opposite. He’s turned the lights OFF, plunging us into utter dysfunction the likes of which this country has not seen in YEARS. And with darkness, comes blindness — and denial.

He and Elon Musk have no damn idea what it is that they’re doing, and what makes all of this so much worse. They cannot see in the dark. All they see is what they want to see.

What makes it worse is that neither man seems at all willing to accept help or feedback. This isn’t the way normal leaders lead, but then again, Donald Trump is anything but a leader, as the shutdown that has begun since he took office, has only gotten worse.
