These MAGA loons are more out of control than ever
On Don Lemon’s show the other night, there was some pretty shocking news. A new poll found that 30% of Republicans say violence might be justified to save the United States. 30%!
I suppose we should all be glad that number isn’t higher. And I am. But it shouldn’t be 30% either. This is what society has done. There’s been a torrent of misinformation, brainwashing, anger grooming, and fear stoking. And not so subtly, 30 percent of Americans now openly support violence.
What I also suspect is that the number is actually higher. Many do not tell pollsters the truth about how they feel. I imagine with these sorts of questions, some held back. People have become desensitized. And they’re getting angrier and angrier.
It is essential that we fight back against this garbage. I am not sure how many of you viewed the recording of the man in Virginia. In this viral video, he is seen saying Critical Race Theory is the most important issue in Virginia. He is then asked to talk a bit about CRT. He couldn’t — because he had no idea what it was.
This is called indoctrination. Just imagine — imagine voting on an important issue, having NO IDEA what the issue even is.
This is why we need to push back when we see stuff like this. MAGA is not going away anytime soon. Not even if Trump were arrested tomorrow. Trump has spawned thousands of little MAGAs who are running around like ants, calling for Civil war, succession, and violence.
Whatever we do, we must not become jaded, and we must keep up our passion. I know how hard it is. I have my moments of despair. We all do. But we just can’t afford to sit back and watch the country crumble to MAGA.
Stay strong, read the Palmer Report, and know that this country’s been through a heck of a lot. War. Slavery. Jim Crow. Women’s Rights. We won’t let a little thing like MAGA take us down.
