These idiots never learn

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The January 6 insurrectionists just never learn their lesson: don’t attempt to play your silly games with judges. Incredibly, some of the jailed insurrectionists are whining about how they’re being treated worse than other prisoners. It gets better. The prisoners who they claim are getting the better treatment are rioters from Portland, Oregon. Sigh.

So a few of these Magas took their claims to court. And let’s just say things did not go well. This week not one but two Federal Judges denied the claims of poor and unfair treatment. AND the kicker is, Donald Trump appointed both these Judges.

Judge Trevor McFadden is one of the two Judges. And here is some of what he had to say:

“Although both Portland and January 6 rioters attacked Federal buildings, the Portland defenders primarily attacked at night, meaning they raged against a largely vacant courthouse.”

“In contrast, the January 6 rioters attacked the Capitol in broad daylight. And many entered it…Their actions endangered hundreds of federal officials in the Capitol complex.”

“Members of Congress cowered under chairs while staffers blockaded themselves in offices, fearing physical attacks from the rioters.”

How about that? Something that makes sense!

Now, these words will not matter to the insurrectionists who do not and likely will never understand logic and reason.

So they will whine and rail against the “deep state” and say both Judges are compromised. As for the whiny defendants, who started all this? I don’t really give a hoot how they’re treated. What’s that expression? If you can’t do the time, then don’t do the crime. That certainly makes sense here.
