There’s something wrong with Ron DeSantis

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida isn’t a nice guy. We all know that. And now one of his former students has come out to tell us more about the Florida non-Governor. DeSantis once taught at a school in the state of Georgia. And one former student wasn’t too fond of him.

One thing that DeSantis reportedly adored was debating certain subjects like the Civil War. And this former student says he would try to play “Devil’s advocate.” Now please answer me this. How does one play Devil’s advocate with the Civil war? I am still unsure, but it appears Ron DeSantis found a way.

This former student, Danielle Pompey, also said she felt she received different treatment from DeSantis because of her skin color. She is a minority. “Mr. Ron, Mr. DeSantis was mean to me and hostile toward me,” Pompey explained. “Not aggressively because I was black.”

Another former student said DeSantis often made mistakes in teaching accurate historical information. Why doesn’t this surprise me? And yet a THIRD student said some students actually made a video poking fun at DeSantis for all his mistakes and screw-ups about the history and the civil war.

No, none of this is a surprise. And these students do indeed have my most sincere sympathies for having to deal with Ron DeSantis as their teacher. I can’t even imagine what that would be like. Ron DeSantis is like a charmless, more abrasive version of Donald Trump. That’s why he is unlikely ever to get the coveted title of President that he seems to crave so badly.
