There’s something wrong with Donald Trump

With a mad twinkle in his orange eye, Donald Trump has been talking much about tariffs. On and one, he’s been going, excitedly chirping, like some flinty-eyed vulture, about all his tariff plans, which he seems to be convinced the American people will receive with joy.

The problem for Trump is, of course, that he’s incompetent. Does he have any idea how tariffs even work? This writer is not convinced AT ALL that he does.

In fact, I’ll go so far as to say that if a reporter struck a mic under his red nose and ASKED him to define what a tariff was, he wouldn’t be able to do it. He would likely start talking about sharks and Hannibal Lecter again. (Same as it ever was.)

However, Donald Trump may have created a mess for himself. Now, upset by all the tariff talk, Mexico is threatening a retaliatory tariff on US goods. Way to Go Donnie! Things are proceeding smoothly for you.

Trump has said he’d like to impose a 25% tariff on Mexican goods. I don’t blame Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum for being perturbed about THAT. So yes, now she is saying Mexico might put in place retaliatory tariffs. It has turned into yet another big stinking mess for Donald John Trump.

Mexico isn’t the only country whose feathers are a bit ruffled right now. Canada’s PM, Justin Trudeau, does not appear happy either about the 25% tariff Trump wants to impose on HIS country.

Meanwhile, China’s getting in on the act. A spokesperson said America should not “take China’s goodwill for granted.” Nice, Donnie! Now you’ve got China mad at you.

If Trump goes through with all this, he’ll soon have the American people furious at him as well, as eventually, costs of goods and services here will skyrocket. But Trump alone on his own private Idaho, a VERY swampy and desolate place, seems either not to care or not to understand the ramifications of what he is proposing to do.

If the traitor, goes ahead with all this, he risks turning himself into more of a fool than he already is, and he also risks the implosion of his presidency, which has not even happened yet and just might sink like rotten wood so deep down under the mud it may not ever be able to rise up again.
