There’s something weird going on with Donald Trump right now

Donald Trump was injured in a shooting on Friday, which has led to all kinds of questions and speculation. Trump’s smartest move would be to surface in public as quickly as possible, in order to show that he’s recovered from the injury, and to try to convince voters to see him sympathetically as a human. Instead Trump is still locked away behind the scenes.

Now NBC News says that one of the main guys from the Trump campaign told this to everyone on the campaign: “Anyone who speaks with the press, even on background or off the record, will be found and terminated immediately. Refrain from commenting, speculating, posting on social media, etc. Complete and total lockdown.”

That’s more than a little weird. What exactly are Trump’s people trying to lock down? He got shot at, he got cut on the ear by shattered glass, and that’s supposed to be the whole story. What else would they be trying to keep from coming out?

This is all just really weird, and it suggests that there’s more to the story than what we know thus far. We’re not going to try to guess what it might be. But whatever it is, Trump’s people are apparently in a panic to try to keep it from leaking out. Stay tuned. Donate $25 to Palmer Report
