“This investigation is not winding down.” “We’re getting to the bottom of what we need to know.” “The investigation is still ongoing.” Like those words? You should. They were spoken by Republican Adam Kinzinger on Face the Nation. And these words underscore the fact that we really may have more hearings to look forward to.

And let’s not forget that we have another hearing coming up this Thursday. This hearing will be so important. The focus will be on what the committee members call “the crucial 187 minutes.”

Remember that — 187 minutes. What was the lord of the lies doing during that time? One hundred eighty-seven minutes of horror — these minutes refer to the length of time it took the traitor in chief to ask the insurrectionists to get out of the Capitol.

And as you know, the committee has subpoenaed the Secret Service for the missing texts. They have given the Secret Service until Tuesday. California Rep. Zoe Lofgren told ABC News that the committee “expects to receive them on time.”

Both Kinzinger and Lofgren said there could absolutely be a hearing in the autumn to discuss the detailed report highlighting the findings of the investigation. The Prime-time hearing on Thursday might be the most important hearing yet. It’s imperative you watch if you can and get as many people as you know to watch.

This hearing on Thursday is shaping up to be the hottest ticket in town — it’s being talked about all over the place, as hot tickets are known to do. And Rep. Kinzinger expects this hearing will “open peoples’ eyes in a big way.”

A deadly insurrection. A president who turned against his own country. And — 187 missing minutes — though I expect that after Thursday, these crucial 187 minutes will be missing no more.
