There’s a tsunami hitting Donald Trump
Bad news is a super-storm that absolutely nobody wants to find themselves engulfed in. Unfortunately for Donald Trump, that’s all he’s been finding lately. Wherever Trump turns, bad news easily follows. It’s just not his day — or week – or year.
But Donald Trump is not going to like this latest piece of bad news for two reasons. One is because it comes from Faux non-news, which, of course, Trump regards as his own personal property. And to be fair, Fox usually ACTS like Trump’s own property. However, (and now we get to the second reason)
this bad news pertains to the future — the shape of things to come.
Johnathan Turley is the judicial contributor for Fox, and Turley says Trump will likely lose his claim for immunity at the Supreme Court level. Turley on Tuesday, said there said there would be many Justices, “INCLUDING some on the right who will be extremely skeptical of Trump’s ask, and his desire for broad presidential immunity.
He also admitted that the merits of the case favor “for Jack Smith with the Supreme Court.” One knows it’s terrible news for Donald Trump when even Faux legal minds are siding with Jack Smith.
So Donald Trump had best be careful. He should stop manically “truthing” and enjoy his time as a free man. Because Turley (and virtually every other political legal mind who has been asked to weigh in) is correct, Trump’s time as a free man is dwindling.
It does appear to this writer that Trump’s future is coming into focus, and the shape of it will not make him happy. The shape of things to come for Donald Trump are:
Court Dates
trials (plural)
Verdicts
Sentencing.
Prison.
I like that shape very much — don’t you?
