There it is: Hope Hicks just DESTROYED Donald Trump with one specific admission on the stand

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Just a few minutes ago I wrote that Hope Hicks’ testimony against Donald Trump today was important but not dramatic. But all that changed at the very end of her testimony, when things took a very dramatic turn. Hicks admitted that when discussing the hush money scandal, Trump told her that he’d rather deal with it right then and there than have it come out later.

Why is this such a big deal? Trump’s defense team is trying to push the narrative that it was Michael Cohen who decided on his own to go and pay off Stormy Daniels, and that Trump had nothing to do with it. This isn’t particularly believable, but there is a reasonable doubt angle in there.

However, with Hope Hicks testifying today that Trump told her he wanted to deal with the scandal, it totally destroys Trump’s defense strategy. Hicks seemed to know that this admission destroyed Trump, given that immediately thereafter, she broke down crying and apologized to Trump.

The cross examination is now underway, and Hicks is now trying to portray Cohen as a loose cannon who did a lot of things without Trump’s knowledge, while insisting that Trump was just trying to protect Melania. But it’s too late. The damage has already been done. Hicks has acknowledged that Trump was in on the payoff, and that bell can’t be unrung.
