There is no bottom

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The smoking gun tape of Trump openly committing crimes appears to be all anyone is talking about. But amid the fireworks of the traitor treating our classified comments with as little care as he might treat Mc Donald’s food wrappers, there is something else Trump did I’d like to talk about.

This concerns his twisted promises related to the January sixth insurrectionists. During a recent fundraiser for the imprisoned monsters, Donald Trump spoke out. And he promised he was going to donate to these traitors to help them pay their legal fees. Traitors gonna traitors. MSNBC Host Johnathan Lemire chimed in, about this promise, saying, “The bottom keeps getting lower.”

Of course, I do not believe that for a minute, Trump gives a damn about the jailed insurrections. Nor do I think he means it about helping them pay their legal bills. Everyone knows Trump is notoriously stingy with money.

But just the thought of it is galling. Trump’s calling January 6, a “beautiful day,” laughed about stealing classified documents and now is offering to pay the legal bills of monsters. This shows that not only has Trump dropped the facade of ever caring about our country, but now he seems to be relishing the fact that he DOESN’T.

Ultimately, I think Trump says whatever he feels at the time without ever thinking about the ramifications of such statements. Trump will NOT look after his jailed flock. He will likely NOT pay a penny toward their lawyers. I mean, come on man, he doesn’t pay his OWN lawyers!

Of course, he likes to snow people and try to convince them he’s just a modest, reasonable, misunderstood man. But in reality, he’s an evil, bad man, and we understand him better than he does himself.
