The unmasking of Clarence Thomas

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

They say the flow of the Nile Rover is endless. It is. However, there is another river that I’d like to talk about. This bottomless, infinite, ever-flowing river with wicked currents constantly running, is the river of Clarence Thomas’s complete contempt for the rule of law.

Thomas holds much contempt in his soul (or what passes for his soul.) The ruling by the extreme court was what we thought it would be. However, Thomas did, as the Daily Beast emphasizes “go rogue.”

In his opinion on Trump’s immunity, Thomas added a caveat: He wants lower courts to examine the “legality of the special prosecutor’s office.” Gee — I wonder who gave him a THAT idea. (Could it be Judge Cannon from from Florida? Now, this changes nothing. Why? Because no other Justices signed onto that opinion — not even Alito. Thomas stands alone.

Here is what the insurrection supporting Thomas said: “If this unprecedented prosecution is to proceed, it must be conducted by someone fully authorized to do so by the American people.”

Now — this issue has been litigated. All decisions were that the special counsel was indeed legitimate. Clarence didn’t get the memo.

What this DOES show is that for all their desires for power, only Justice Thomas has this opinion; it is only Thomas going to the ends of the earth to defend his buddy, convinced felon Donald Trump.

Thomas has been unmasked. Few things will bring me as much pleasure as winning this election. However, one thing that will be just as good is hauling Thomas before the committee for hearings and possible impeachment. THAT brings a smile to this writer’s face that will remain for a long time.
