What is going on in Florida? The Sunshine State is the center of this article. This is because, if a new poll is in fact accurate, Kamala Harris is now ahead of Donald Trump by double digits in Miami-Dade County.

The new poll shows Harris getting 54% of Miami-Dade votes, while Donald Trump gets just under forty percent. This is — this is huge. Now, my friends, I am NOT suggesting we will win Florida.I am NOT saying that at all. Florida has become problematic in recent years for us , though I have NEVER given way to the speculation that it is purely a red state. It’s not.

This poll, however, is newsworthy. Harris leads with 55% of women and 52 of men. And non-Cuban Hispanic voters go for Harris at 58%. Could Florida be changing once again? I’d be not surprised.

Florida has been used and abused by her insane pudding fingers governor for years now. Florida has seen said governor put an almost complete abortion ban into place. Florida, it strikes me, might be a bit pissed off right now. I wouldn’t blame her.

Florida, home by the sea, ebbs and flows just like her waters. The tide may be beginning to turn once again in that regard. Whatever happens, this is quite newsworthy, and it’s good news in a continued string of good news for the Democratic party.
