The Terrorist-in-Chief

I spent 26 years of my life in Southern California, and never before have I been prouder to lay claim to that fact. The governor of California (for whom Trump has called for the arrest), the mayor and the chief of police of the city of Los Angeles have all stood tall against the fascistic military invasion of that great city by the Terrorist-in-Chief.

As I write this, Trump has mobilized and deployed 2,000 more National Guard troops, bringing the number to nearly 5,000, and (I can’t believe I’m writing this) 700 United States Marines against the peaceful protesters of Los Angeles. This shameful and despicable act is shocking even by Trumpian standards.

US Marines are trained above all else to do one thing, to kill as many other human beings as possible while avoiding being killed themselves. Trump has sent Marines — not peacekeeping troops, but killers — to do his killing. Forgetting about every despicable thing Trump has ever done, for this act alone he is a loathsome, villainous coward.

And just to remind us that Trump doesn’t give a shit about anyone but himself, he illegally deployed California — not federal, but California — National Guard troops without any provisions for fuel, food, water or a place for those troops to sleep. No doubt if Trump were there personally he’d order out McDonald’s for the troops then leave without paying the bill.

Trump squats disgustingly like Jabba the Hutt in the Oval Office or at Mar-a-Lardo while cosplaying a tough guy issuing orders to Jack-booted shock troops in helmets and riot gear to arrest dishwashers and fruit pickers. That is what a weakling looks like. Trump is a paper tiger, a phoney, a counterfeit man who’s acting out his insecurities because he’s embarrassed by his tiny penis and the fact that his father never hugged him.

It’s bad enough that the rich cynically exploit migrant workers and minorities as villains to distract away from their crimes, but it is beyond disgusting that it’s gone this far. Now politicians have to throw red meat to the bigots they inspired with ever-increasing elaborateness, like the bigot show Trump is putting on in Los Angeles. Because, and let’s never forget, we now live in a world where Republicans serve one man, and Trump serves the slavering bigoted monster of MAGA that he created.
