The tables have officially turned
As legendary stories go, Frankenstein is quite a powerful one. Victor Frankenstein built his monster in his creepy laboratory. No matter how hard he tried, the monster couldn’t mingle with the fabric of society. He could not be one of them. He was always alone. Eventually, he comes to hate his creator.
In another legend, there is Prometheus. He’s a titan, a favorite of the Gods until he betrays them by giving the gift of fire to humankind. The key here is loyalty turning to fear — and hate. Republicans have been loyal to Donald Trump. They’ve been in lockstep with him, no matter what he does or what type of schemes he comes up with. But now the joke’s on them.
There is something remarkable going on. And that something is — the big lie. Reportedly Trump is accusing Republicans of trying to steal the Pennsylvania Senate race — again — he’s accusing REPUBLICANS.
It is just remarkable. Trump is the creation of the GOP. He is the monster these corrupt politicians created. They are as guilty as he is; make no mistake. But he’d NEVER turn on them — right? They were actually foolish enough to believe that.
See, Trump and the GOP both tell the big lie but have vastly different reasons for doing so.
With the GOP — they have watched the corruption of Trump, and perhaps they figured they could use him to get and retain power.
But Trump doesn’t care about their power. He doesn’t give a damn about anyone’s power. It is his EGO that he feeds.
So that is why his pick has to win in Pennsylvania — to assuage the monster Trump’s itty-bitty pint-sized ego. Oh, what a mistake Republicans made — thinking this mangled creation — this barbaric babbling THING — would EVER be loyal to them.
Loyalty and Trump have never met and will never meet. And now — it is the REPUBLICANS being labeled election thieves — from one they thought was their own! Only he was never their own. He exists in solitude, in the exile of brutes — and the Republicans stand mournfully alone. Karma never felt so delicious.
