The super close Senate race that everybody is overlooking

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

For some reason, the Senate race in North Carolina isn’t getting the attention many other races are getting. So we need to give it some time and attention. Polls have shown consistently that our candidate Cheri Beasley can win.

North Carolina is a purple state, not a red one. Democrats have won there before. It could be a great pickup for our side. Add to that, the Republican’s choice is not a very inspirational candidate. His name is Ted Budd, and he’s sort of cruddy. He’s also an election denier.

Beasley is one of the best candidates we have and has been running in a sort of statistical tie with Budd. She’s also the first black woman ever to serve on North Carolina’s Supreme court as chief justice. She is inspirational.

A recent poll from Marist College had the two tied. What could win this race for us is turnout. We have GOT to get out of the vote in North Carolina. If we do – if Democratic voters show up in huge numbers — we have it made.

The Republicans have significantly outspent Democrats by millions in this race. That’s why if you’re looking for candidates to donate to, Beasley should be at the top of your list.

Republicans are trying to play down her chances by saying it’s likely Democrats won’t show up to vote. So let’s prove them wrong! Early voting across the country is off the charts. But we can’t leave anything to chance. Please sign up to help Beasley, and let’s win North Carolina.
