The Russian military just got tanked
The point of the worldwide economic crackdown on Russia isn’t just to squeeze Vladimir Putin and motivate his oligarchs to take him down. The point is also to make it difficult for Putin to fund or arm his military. Now we’re seeing evidence that this is working.
Due to Putin’s terribly inept military strategy in Ukraine, and the fierceness of the Ukrainian people, The Russian military has suffered heavy losses. That includes personnel and equipment. Russian tanks keep breaking down, getting taken out, and even getting stolen by Ukrainian farmers.
Now the only tank manufacturer in Russia has reportedly ceased its production, due to a “lack of component parts.” This means Putin can’t even replace the Russian tanks in the field that he’s stupidly gotten destroyed in his failing invasion. This is only going to continue to get uglier for Putin as Russian military losses mount and worldwide economic blockades prevent him from being able to restock his depleted military.
