The red wave is collapsing

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

In the first half of 2022, the GOP was in ignorant bliss. The bliss surrounded them like a velvety cloak. Oh, how happy they were! They were going to win the midterms! After all, how hard could it be? They had a winning message of — nothing. Their platform was — nothing. And the message that they heard from their constituents was — nothing.

Blissfully wrapped in denial, determined to hear and see nothing, the GOP went out to lunch. And they are only now coming back. Because the GOP, on their extended lunch break, missed ALL of the signs. And these signs were literally screaming at them.

The signs that the GOP chose not to see were that the voters were pissed. And they were pissed precisely because the GOP was doing and saying — nothing. And now, back from their lazy lunch break, the GOP’s horror is slowly growing as it FINALLY dawns on them that their “easy victory” in November might not be so easy after all. And it might not even be a victory.

But now the realization is dawning, taking shape, and they are scrambling like frightened wild animals. The issue of abortion looms large. Some in the GOP are seemingly shocked — shocked, I tell you! — that women actually want to make their own decisions. Who’d have thought?!

Blake Masters of Arizona, running for Senate, has carefully scrubbed his website of the word “abortion.” Now he’s saying he’s not TOTALLY pro; life — not when rape or incest is involved.

Expect a bit more of this from republicans in the coming months. You see, they’re seeing what we are. And what they see is Democrats scoring win after win after win. While Republicans have done nothing except try to imprison women’s bodies. Yes, I’d say Republicans have a problem.

The Republican party is on the verge of a massive red wave. But it’s a wave of failure. They know it. And we know it. So we have just a few short months. Let’s go for it. Because the GOP is starting to implode time, and it couldn’t happen to a bigger bevy of creeps.
