The real reason the New York Attorney General and the Manhattan District Attorney are teaming up to take down Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When the news broke that the New York Attorney General’s investigation into the Trump Organization had morphed into a criminal one, on top of the existing Manhattan District Attorney’s ongoing criminal investigation into Donald Trump, it became more clear than ever that Trump is going to prison. But it still raised a number of new questions.

For instance, were these two New York-based criminal investigations into Trump going to operate separately? Was the state taking portions of the criminal case away from the DA? Would the criminal indictments be brought separately? Now we’re getting some answers.

NBC is confirming that the two investigations are indeed coordinating their efforts, to the point that the New York Attorney General has reassigned two of her own lawyers to work in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. This means that, as Palmer Report was long expecting, the two different investigations ended up overlapping in their criminal findings to the point that it makes more sense to work together.
