Trump wants this kind of nonsensical speculation to be the big headline about him this week, in order to drown out any headlines about how a civil jury might conclude that he raped a woman, or how he’s about to be indicted under the Espionage Act.

The best way to stick it to Trump is to not care about his overseas trip at all, since it’s a non-story, and instead keep your focus on Trump’s worsening legal situation.
