The Punisher
This article is, unfortunately, a warning. I do hate when warnings such as these surface. But we must be on alert, and it’s important for all Democrats to know why. This story I am about to share with you has received remarkably little press coverage. It’s about the enemy in plain sight. It is about Clarence Thomas.
I’ve been writing much about Alito lately, and yes, he is an enemy too. But Thomas, in my opinion, gets more PLEASURE from being an enemy. He likes to goad us, friends and readers, and he’s conscienceless. Thomas is a bloodhound, sniffing for more rights to overturn. This concerns the 1965 legal opinion of Griswold v Connecticut.
One remembers, of course, how Thomas, in another opinion, wrote that Griswold should be given a second look. This is the decision that on birth control. Well, now he’s done it again. The extreme court has been busy releasing opinions. And in one opinion, Thomas again criticized Griswold.
“The facial overbreadth doctrine is but one manifestation of the Court’s larger shift away from the limited judicial station envisioned by the constitution.” He then cited five cases that should be looked at again. Griswold is one of them. Let me translate that legal jargon.
“I hope that some Republican somewhere brings me a case involving birth control so I can try to take it away from women.” The following statement, readers is solely my opinion. And though I hate to assume the worst, here is what I think about Thomas.
I think he likes trying to make us crazy. I do not believe Clarence Thomas gives a damn about birth control. I DO believe he is in punishing mode. Thomas is a retribution king, a vanquisher of personal freedoms, an avenger, the ultimate punisher.
Thomas has never, it would seem, forgiven Democrats on the Anita Hill situation. I think he enjoys taking away (or trying to) the rights of others simply to say: see? It didn’t work. I’m still here, and I’m gonna make your lives hell.
There is also the premise that Clarence Thomas doesn’t really like women. He may even hate them. After all, if one believes Anita Hill — and I do — he was horrible to her.
So despite the extreme court playing at sweet little decisions, some of which are going our way — keep your eyes open as they relate to Thomas. Never underestimate the enemy in plain sight. Clarence Thomas is one of our biggest enemies right now, and we MUST — we MUST — prevail in 2024.
