The political tide is turning against Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Mike Pence has called on Republicans to stop encouraging hate speech against law enforcement and to tamp down their rhetoric. Let’s just stop to marvel at this. This is the GOP — the party that for years has bragged about how they’re the party of law and order.

But ever since the Trump search, they’ve shown their true colors and revealed they do not give two shits about law enforcement or ANYBODY that doesn’t worship in the circle of Trump.

Pence had another surprise. Pence was in the state of New Hampshire at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics when he was asked the question of appearing before the January 6 committee.

“If there was an invitation to participate, I’d consider it,” Pence said. Now Pence did say that the move would be “unprecedented.” But that won’t stops him if he really wants to do it. And I think he does.

The tides are turning against Trump, and despite many in his immediate circle crowing about his strong poll numbers, I believe many see it.

They see the pendulum swinging away from Trump. We see it in the hate network Fox. Several of their most awful pundits are shifting away from Trump. We see it in the poll numbers of Democrats. We see it ALL over.

And I believe Mike Pence knows Trump is toast. I think that Pence — not that he’d EVER admit it — would love nothing more than to watch Trump go down. And if he can offer a bit of help in that regard — why not?

Of course, we do not know for sure that Pence would testify. But it IS a strong possibility. And such testimony could be very compelling. If I were Donald Trump — and thank goodness I’m not — I’d be very worried about now.
