The phony Arizona election “audit” goes even further off the rails as the Cyber Ninjas get sick with COVID

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Awhile back, when most pundits were lamenting about how the phony Arizona election “audit” was somehow going to destroy democracy as we know it, Palmer Report predicted that the farce would fail to change a single mind, would have no impact, and would fade away in humiliating fashion. It turns out we were right – the audit went nowhere and accomplished nothing – but even we couldn’t have foreseen this particular ending.

The “Cyber Ninjas” who conducted the phony audit are now claiming they’ve had to delay their report because three of them are “quite sick” with COVID:

We’re not going to accuse these guys of pretending to be sick with COVID just to avoid having to present an embarrassing final report on an imaginary election audit. Then again, they’ve already given us every reason to distrust them in general. Nor are we going to revel in their illness. But we do wonder if they bothered to get vaccinated. In any case, this audit has somehow found a way to become an even more embarrassing farce. It’s going nowhere.
