The Pete Hegseth scandal just got a lot worse for him

The Donald Trump regime is now officially in chaos, after his top national security people were caught discussing secret war plans in the Signal app – and Trump’s Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth ended up accidentally sending those plans to a reporter. Now the whole thing has gotten even worse for Hegseth.
It turns out Hegseth’s own Department of Defense issued a warning to all personnel last month advising them not to discuss anything over Signal due to security vulnerabilities within the app, according to CBS News. Various legal experts have already said that Hegseth and the other Trump officials committed a felony just by discussing the plans in the app. Now that there’s proof Hegseth knew he wasn’t supposed to do so, it takes away any reasonable doubt argument he might try to make.
Of course the Trump DOJ obviously isn’t going to prosecute Hegseth or any other Trump official, no matter how guilty they may be. But they can certainly be prosecuted if we retake control of our country in 2028. In the meantime, the mere fact that Hegseth and the Trump team leaked secret war plans is enough to make sure this scandal isn’t going away. And Trump’s inability to respond to the scandal means that it’s going to end up being a scandal for Trump as well as his people.
