The opening of Pandora’s box

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We knew from the start the abortion fight was never about “states’ rights.” It was about the opening of Pandora’s box. It was about taking off the cover to the GOP’s darkest and most inhumane fantasies — and setting them free. See, many are getting it wrong. The GOP isn’t just doing all they do for power. Many simply hate women. With a passion.

Women are not valued as human beings among these people. THAT is what makes them so very deadly. In The Handmaid’s Tale, women were little more than breeding mares. In The Stepford Wives, women were little more than sexy talking robots. The souls ceased to exist.

In reality, many extraordinary and heroic men exist. But not among the GOP politicians in DC. The point is — This will not be the worst of it. How could it be? The opening of Pandora’s Box ALWAYS gets worse with time. Remember, please, how America opened the door to Trump. And think how much worse it got – month by month, day by day.

And then Maga. Witness the transformation of people from the first babblings of darkness to complete treachery. And now this. The bills we see are small potatoes to what will come — if we lose.

For they cannot help it. The die has been cast. Once the box is opened, and the evils and ills of the world come pouring out — attaching themselves — molding themselves to the panting box openers — one can’t go back. One cannot unring the bell of Pandora’s Box. Let this be a warning. We need every vote. And we need to tell every person, including the blissfully unaware, of the acute horror of Pandora’s box.
