The old man and the plea
We wanted to see Donald Trump beg, and now we have. A plea has gone out from the old man we call traitor. This plea is directed toward a specific group of people and, true to form, comes with the typical insane fury of old man Trump.
So this please directed toward our extreme court. Donald Trump astonishingly (yes, he even managed to surprise ME with this one) has called upon the supreme court to intercede in his indictments on the grounds that he’s being prosecuted only because he stands to win the 2024 election.
Loony days are here again. “Crazy!” the old critter screeched on Truth Social, which really should be called lies social. “I am leading in all the polls, including against crooked Joe, but this is not a level playing field.”
Are you as surprised as I am that Donald Trump knows the expression “level playing field?” Are we sure someone else does not write his messages for him? “It is election interference & the Supreme Court must intercede. MAGA.”
Lots to unpack here. If Donald Trump thinks the Supreme Court is going to step in and say; “We decree — all charges against the old man are hereby DROPPED”, he’s even crazier than we thought. The extreme court can’t help Donald Trump. Nobody can help Donald Trump, which may be why he is turning increasingly insane. What does he propose they do? What COULD they do? Nothing, that’s what.
I wonder. How long do you suppose until Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett are called “members of the deep state” by donald trump? It could happen any day now. After all, they must come when called! And they will not. So for Trump, that makes them enemies.
But this plea shows the old man’s desperation. Let’s face it; one must be pretty much out of options to do something like THIS. And perhaps he really does think that just because he asked, the court will drop everything and rush to intercede on his behalf; if so, he’s in fantasy land.
There is nothing, Donald — I repeat nothing — the court can do for you. You did all of this to yourself. You worked hard to betray our country. And hard work gets results like multiple indictments, as you can see.
