On Wednesday Palmer Report wrote that Dr. Deborah Birx had jumped the shark in terms of getting too entangled in Donald Trump’s lies. On Thursday she seemed to try to salvage her reputation when someone leaked to the media that she was the one who privately talked Trump into coming out against reopening Georgia. But then Thursday evening’s press briefing happened.

While Donald Trump was on the stage arguing that coronavirus can be magically cured by injecting sunlight into people, or by having them swallow poisonous disinfectants, Dr. Birx was sitting in a chair on the side of the room. This video captures the look on Dr. Birx’s face at the precise moment she realized Trump was actually pushing this nonsense. Check out her reaction at around the 25-second mark:
