The Kim Jong Un death watch saga just took an even stranger turn involving Donald Trump
With various news outlets and government officials around the world now making increasingly conflicting claims about what’s going on with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, the last thing we need is even more confusion. Yet that’s exactly what happened today when Donald Trump was asked about Kim during his press briefing.
In response to the question about whether Kim Jong Un was alive or dead, Donald Trump bragged that he knows what’s going on, but he’s not going to tell us yet. Trump seems to think he’s special because he knows a secret that we all wish we knew. In reality it’s just a reminder of how profoundly creepy and deranged Trump is. It’s one thing for the President to keep a secret for national security reasons. It’s another to taunt everyone because he knows the answer and they don’t.
Further, we all know that Donald Trump lies constantly, so there’s no reason to believe him when he says he knows what’s really going on with Kim Jong Un. Even if U.S. intel has learned of Kim’s fate, Trump has never believed anything that the U.S. intel community has told him anyway.
Our guess is that Donald Trump is just taunting us with nothing, so that whatever ends up being the story with Kim Jong Un, Trump can then claim that he already knew about it. These two sacks of crap deserve each other.
