The GOP war on women sinks to a whole new level

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

“Politics has gotten more emotional….which isn’t better at all.” This is a comment from social media. Here’s another one for ya: “Women don’t care about the economy. They only vote on non-important stuff.” And yet another: “Go back to how it was intended. Business owners and land owners vote.”

Yep. This is a conversation between many a misogynist discussing the merits of women being allowed to vote. And it shows one something. It shows that republicans truly do not see women as people. Now the right for women to vote will not be taken away. But some of these idiots clearly might WANT it to be. Some of them would probably cheer were it yanked from us.

The ferocious vontempt that many Republicans feel toward women has have never been stronger. We see proof of it every day. The other thing about women that scare Republicans is one word — it’s a word that absolutely fills Republicans with dread: FEMINISM.

The GOP does not know what to do with that word, just as they do not know what to do with women. Their fear of women is palpable. It’s also why they’re so freaked out over women’s rights.

All of what is going on with the GOP and their war on women can be traced back to fear. Indeed, most hate in general comes from fear. People hate what they do not understand. And they fear it.

“Women are more easily manipulated than men.” This is yet another person who appears scared of women. And I could shred that argument in a minute. Easily manipulated? Just take a look at Lindsey Graham for THAT one.

The GOP’s war on women is omnipresent and is one of the major forces at play in making them who they are. I think it will also be one of the major factors in their continuing to lose at the ballot box.
