The George Santos scandal just got even uglier for House Republicans
In ancient times, George Santos would not have been a king when Dynasties rose and fell with regularity. No, he’d have been one of the spoiled courtiers, a mealy-mouthed commoner, scuttling about like a cockroach. He’d have lied and spun false tales with regularity. George Santos would have been one of those people wishing for aristocracy and trying to obtain it by allying himself with whatever side he felt could do him the most good.
It is a shame we have this loser in Congress. However, it won’t be for long. Santos is on his way out; he will likely find a new home in prison. And even Kevin McCarthy knows this to be true.
You know it’s terrible when the cowardly House Speaker turns against you. Fox host Brian Kilmeade asked Kevin McCarthy if he was “on board” with a Santos election bid. McCarthy chuckled. He CHUCKLED. Not only did Kevin say he WASN’T on board, he said Santos should not run at all.
There goes Santos’s election campaign — gone up in a puff of smoke. But Santos, like many cowards before him, is in deep denial. So he took to Twitter to reassure the people of New York that HE was not planning to go anywhere. “I continue to serve the people of NY3,” Santos ACTUALLY wrote.
Wow. Santos does seem to prove Denial is not just a river in Egypt. Is Santos delusional? Does he genuinely think he stands a chance? I doubt it. Santos must know his Congressional career is on borrowed time. But he is the type of who would never take responsibility — like Donald Trump.
George Santos seems to have stepped right out of one of those ancient royal dynasties that would employ spoiled, gossipy courtiers. He reminds me so much of a fool — an ambitious fool, but a fall nonetheless. who loves himself far more than the people he represents do.
